Friday, May 09, 2008 Gordon Keith Show
On Wednesday we had the high honor of musically guesting on the upcoming episode of the Gordon Keith Show. We pulled out several of the stops and performed the title track from the new album, "Experiment in Error" with Justin Smith on rhythm guitar and Brian Wesoloski and Dave Monsch on saxes. It was a blast, and informed sources tell us that the show itself was quite good, especially the interview with Ashton Kutcher and Rob Corddry. All we can vouch for is the quality of the veggie tray in the kitchen.

Hi kids. We've posted some new videos on YouTube (and MySpace and all those other places you're supposed to post videos). We shot these little gems last summer in Don's loft. Very low budget - an Apple iSight captured our lovely visage and the music was performed and recorded live. Hope you enjoy 'em.

We're no longer playing at The Quarter on Monday nights. We'll blame it on “Monday Night Football”, so as to salvage a bit of our dignity. We'll retool and return shortly.

Our fine, feathered friend Paul Slavens has his own show on KERA 90.1 FM (Sundays 7-10pm) right here in Dallas. The kids are calling it "THE TEXCLECTIC RADIO HOUR" and we think that's just grand. The thrill of it all is that Dr. Slavens has chosen to use a Shibboleth track as his theme music. Heavens to Betsy! Tune it and check it out. It's bound to be grandtastic.

Check it out folks - since we haven't been playing much we thought we'd give you something new to chew on for a while. It's a little ditty called Black Onions and it features our friend and neighbor Matt Kellum on the drums. Also you may enjoy a cover of "One of the Millions" that our own little Rich Martin has contributed to an XTC compilation. While you're there be sure and check out the rest of the site (click on the pic of the crown).

Some very lovely people in Japan have decided that they like Shibboleth and luckily for us they happen to have a radio show. What's even crazier is they asked us to record a little radio greeting for them. And we did. And now you can listen to the awkward silliness.UPDATE: The show with our bit has come and gone, but we managed to record the webcast for posterity. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy.

We've been getting some wonderful great from a cadre of independent DJs and the like from all over Europe. Many thanks to these fine folks. However we reserve the warmest regards for the utterly irrepressible Lord Litter. This fine man is one of the pillars of the world. The website is in German, his show is in German, but his hairstyle is pan-global. Lord Litter, we thank you and salute you!

Heavens! Legendary Santa Monica, CA based radio station KCRW has been spinning some Shibboleth. From now on you can find us lunching at the Brown Derby with Hepburn and Tracy.
Monday, February 10, 2003 Shibboleth Rejected Again!
For the second year running, Shibboleth has been rejected from the venerable SXSW Music Festival. The band was unavailable for comment at press time, however we suspect that they are keeping a stiff upper lip and acting like it doesn't bother them.
